Uniaye is a cosmetic coloured contact lens brand. After seeing the popular trend of coloured contact lenses rise in the Korean market, the Uniaye brand wanted to introduce the same product to like minded consumers in Thailand.
To appeal to their target demographic, Uniaye wanted an ‘on trend’, sophisticated masterbrand identity and packaging design suite that expressed their brand values as well as exudes the brands high quality and premium positioning.
The challenge was to create a distinctive brand identity that could be utilised off pack and was memorable in a saturated market. The size of the pack was small with limited space, which was an additional challenge.
To create an identity that is truly unique, we used the ‘A’ character in ‘Uniaye’ to create a symbol that represents the eye. The circular holographic circle is a nod to the shape of the lens, whilst injecting tactile premium cues. Beauty category codes were used to make the Uniaye brand relatable to the cosmetic category.
