The boundless possibilities of new horizons and perspectives call to us, beckoning us to explore new lands. But during the dark days of a pandemic lockdown, the reality of venturing out into the world felt like a distant dream. As the world outside our windows remained stagnant, our minds yearned for the freedom of travel.
Tasked with creating a new wine brand under the name 'The Azurial' for the wanderlust-filled entry-level wine drinkers, our goal was to bridge the gap between reality and imagination. We sought to bring the world to them, even in the face of travel restrictions. This pushed us to dream bigger, to show the world from a whole new perspective and transport our drinkers to a place beyond our wildest imagination. Each label in the collection features our imaginative traveller nostalgically gazing at a distant, rotating Earth. The composition of the image is reminiscent of a sentimental vacation polaroid, with a focus on the subjects longing gaze. The view of the Earth depicted on each label is unique and tailored to the specific region from which the wine hails. The effect is a visually arresting and evocative representation of the wine's origins and character.
